The search was about understanding the sensitivity of first-time buyers to the knowledge of natural risks.
Thanks to this user research, the insurer would like to offer a solution so that future buyers have all possible knowledge in terms of natural risks when choosing their future home.
My mission was to carry out the entire UX Research phase with the conducting and analysis of 20 moderated interviews while taking into account the deadlines.

Study context
The insurer wants to offer solutions to first-time buyers by integrating concerns related to climate issues.
The goal was to test the location of a property before purchase, in order to identify potential environmental risks and make decisions regarding the living environment and impact on the environment.

What was the process used for this UX research
Project evaluation phase and start-up
As part of the project familiarization phase, my main goal was to gain a thorough understanding of the client's needs, goals, and expectations.
To achieve this, I reviewed all the documents shared by the client regarding similar projects and existing studies.
This initial step allowed me to establish a solid foundation, ensuring that the setup and moderation of interviews would perfectly align with the client's unique requirements and vision.
Tasks performed for this UX Research
Project preparation:
We have established the goals and objectives of the research with the project team.
I contacted the person in charge of recruiting participants representing the target audience.
I created the interview guide with a series of open-ended questions to guide the conversations.
Pre-interview setup:
I took care of participant scheduling to coordinate interview dates and times.
I prepared the necessary documents for the interviews.
Conducting 20 remote moderated interviews:
Introduction: I introduce myself, explain the purpose of user research, and request the participant's consent to be recorded.
Questions: I ask questions using the interview guide and encourage participants to share their ideas, experiences, and feelings.
Exploration: I ask follow-up questions to delve into specific points or to clarify responses.
Listening: I pay special attention to participants' responses and observe non-verbal cues.
Recording: I record the interviews for later analysis.
Data analysis
Transcription: I transcribed the recorded interviews using the Dovetail tool.
Tagging: I identified themes, ideas, and key observations with labels. I then categorized all this data.
Results synthesis: I summarized the main conclusions and identified trends with tags for the key points.
Interview synthesis: I created a profile for each interview on Figma to simplify persona creation
Final report and presentation
Final report: I wrote the research report. It is a document that provides all the research results including findings, conclusions, participant quotes, and recommendations. This document includes graphs, tables, and visual elements to present the data effectively.
Sharing the results: I presented the results to the project team.
RESULTS
The profiles that stand out following this analysis
The client has received a final report with reasoned findings of figures, behavioral data, graphs, quotes, and recommendations.
The result of this research has revealed 3 profile trends to work on personas.
Thanks to the summary sheets delivered on Figma, it is thus easier for the project team to continue the study and establish the persona sheets, empathy maps, and experience maps if necessary.
